HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Signing up to learn GCSE Maths Online with Upgrade is easy. All you need to do is head to the pricing section, choose the Foundation tier (if you're aiming for a grade 4-5) or the Higher tier (if you're aiming for grade 5-9) and then select a monthly or (save 20%) on a yearly subscription. Then once you've completed the checkout, you'll have instant access to all course content and features.
exam board suitability?
The Upgrade course content to has been designed to be suitable for the following exam boards; Edexcel, AQA, and OCR. It is also suitable for (almost) all of the WJEC and IGCSE syllabus but not all.
What results can I expect?
Results (in pretty much anything!) will always depend on a combination of many different factors, but as the old saying goes; 'the more you put in, the more you get out'. That said; Upgrade has been built using the same system I use with my students who have a 100% pass rate and with a higher than predicted grade.
What equipment WILL I NEED?
All you'll need to learn GCSE Maths online with Upgrade is a pen, some paper, a reliable internet connection and a PC, tablet (or even a smart phone).
Are video lessons effective?
On-Demand lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons; in fact a large proportion of students who have had both in-person and online lessons say that they actually prefer the online lessons as they find it easier to concentrate and that it's a more efficient use of time.
How will I receive feedback?
Regular feedback is an integral part of this programme, which is why you'll receive a bespoke report every time you submit a quiz so you can keep a close eye on how you're progressing. You can also generate a range of reports (Lessons, Units, Revision, Upgrade) whenever you like. Which is perfect for identifying which lessons/units to prioritise for revision.
minimum subscription length?
The minimum subscription length for Upgrade is 1 month, with the maximum length being completely up to you. That said; if you know that you'll need access to Upgrade for over a year (and you have the budget) my advice would be to sign up on a yearly subscription and save your self 20% on subscription fees.
is there a free trial available?
In a word, yes! You can access Unit 1 of Upgrade's Higher and Foundation Tiers, which includes 16 lessons and the corresponding quizzes for free, so you can make sure that Upgrade is the right fit for you before you sign up.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCIPTION?
The minimum subscription length for Upgrade is one month and you can cancel at any time. All you need to do to cancel is complete the Contact form in the members area (specifying after how many months you would like your subscription to expire) and we will be happy to arrange that for you. Please note that subscriptions cannot be retroactively cancelled, so make sure you contact us in advance of a subscription payment as we do not offer refunds for any reason.
